Our mission is to thoroughly train students in the sport of scuba diving in a relaxed and enjoyable environment. To guide students in the mastery of diving skills and prepare them to safely continue through a life of diving adventures. To teach all students to live by the motto, “Every diver returns safely from every dive".
Mark started diving in 1984 while serving in the U.S. Army Special Forces at Ft. Bragg, N.C. Since then he has taught Rock Climbing, Orienteering, Wilderness Survival, and Search and Rescue. He became a PADI instructor after witnessing the many opportunities in the dive industry while on a diving trip to the Florida Keys several years ago.
Mark is currently certified as a PADI IDC Staff Instructor, an EFR Instructor, and a PADI Specialty Instructor in Peak Performance Buoyancy, Night Diver, DPV Diver, Enriched Air Diver, Boat Diver, Drysuit Diver, Wreck Diver, Underwater Navigator, Drift Diver, Search and Recovery Diver, Deep Diver, Altitude Diver, Self-Reliant Diver, Multi-level Diver, Underwater Naturalist, Surface Marker Buoy Diver, Equipment Specialist, Emergency Oxygen Provider, Project Aware, and Fish ID. Mark is certified as a Professional Scuba Inspections/Professional Cylinder Inspections (PSI-PCI) cylinder inspector, an American Underwater Products (AUP) Open Circuit Technician, a PADI Tec Gas Blender-Trimix, and is also a Technical Diver.
